The Electronic Media Awards™ (EMA™) is a prestigious international competition recognizing excellence in electronic media, including Web, Video, Flash™, Apps + Video Games and Interactive Multimedia (CD/DVD).
An international annual event, the 2011 Electronic Media Awards™ is accepting entrants from all over the world who will submit a diverse array of web design, e-commerce, video, Flash™ animation, videogames, interactive and multimedia digital content. In December, 2011, a distinguished panel of experts comprised of leading web designers, developers, programmers, art directors, and other electronic media-related professionals are organized by the Electronic Media Commission (EMC) to review and judge the entrants based on a consistent and high standard of excellence. Winning entries are awarded either a Gold, Silver, or Bronze level award. All Gold winners are eligible for the EMA™ Best in Category Award. EMA™ Best in Category winners are eligible to win the coveted EMA™ Best in Show Award (the highest honor of the Electronic Media Awards™).
The Electronic Media Awards™ competition is open to individuals and organizations involved in the creation and development of all manner of electronic media - if it's on the web or on a screen, it's likely eligible for at least one EMA™ category. Nominations are accepted online from around the world from web design firms, advertising agencies, corporate marketing departments, video and multimedia producers, as well as individual web designers and graphic artists, among others. The size of your organization is not important - but the quality of your work is!
Our mission is to recognize excellence on the Internet and electronic media and we invite those of you who share that same passion and vision to join us in building the EMA™ into an event that we can all be proud of.
Founded by the Electronic Media Commission (EMC), an organization of leading web artisans other electronic media-related professionals, the EMA™ competition was created to recognize excellence on the Internet and electronic media and offer participants an opportunity to compete with the world's best in digital communications. EMC serves as the primary sponsor and governing body of the Electronic Media Awards™, sets the judging criteria and provides the judges and awards for the competition.
Winning an EMA™ recognizes your hard work and honors your extraordinary achievements. As an exclusive EMA™ Award Winner, you'll further establish your credibility and earn the legitimacy you need to compete in the global marketplace that is the Internet.
Currently, we accept nominations in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese and Russian. A non-refundable US$125.00 entry fee is required per each category entered. Entries in the Student/Education Project category are eligible to pay a US$45.00 entry fee available to students or teachers only.
